Amazing Experience
I have chartered in several places now, and none was as beautiful as the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. The only sign of civilization we saw after leaving the harbor is a single sailboat over the course of our week in this prestine wilderness. The boat (a Beneteau 361) was in good condition and had a working heater - we needed it looking at the glaciers! As for chartering here, Sailing Inc is the only game in town, but fortunately it is very well run by Deborah and her husband. A truly unique charter.
