Good trip
Had a very good trip - after a very long flight to Greece was easy to get to the base which was 30 mins from the airport. The boats were in good shape - up to usual moorings standard - and we got the boat we signed up for, which I hear is a problem with some charter companies in Greece. No mechanical or other problems were experienced.

The sailing was reasonably good, we got a couple of hours of wind per day at least, though we did a fair amount of motoring. The seas are sheltered here which is good for my wife and daughter, neither of whom got felt any of their usual queasiness. Highlight was definitely the history. So many small port towns with increditble history and ruins. Much more culturally interesting than any of our other trips. I am glad we avoided August, which is much more crowded. Based on the advice of many, recommend going in May-June or September.

Another way to do the Med
Used sunsail in 1999, despite the war. Easier sailing than other parts of the med e.g., Greece and Turkey, and enjoyed it more too.

The water was incredibly clean - I presume this is still the case despite that it is more popular now. It's mostly marina hopping around the larger islands, but towns were pretty and unspoilt and the harbours were very good. Lots of stuff to do ashore, less traveled than other spots. I would like to return again some time.
