Off the beaten path
We had a terrific time. The ancorages were uncrowded and the beaches beautiful.. Pretty much what we pictured of a tropical paradise. Decent snorkeling throughout, would recommend going to Carlisle Bay to and grabbing a bit of decent food and drink there, which along with English Harbor had the best restaurants on the trip.
Most of the staff at the various shops, restaurants, etc. were indifferent toward us at best. We found this to be the case in the BVI as well, but perhaps just a bit worse, which was hard for us to believe. I guess that's just the Caribbean.
We went with Horizon after having a good experience with them in the BVIs and were not disappointed. The boat was new, well maintained and trouble-free, and likewise, the staff there was very good.
Sailing and anchoring conditions were challenging, so would recommend for a third or fourth charter with an experienced crew.
