Happy trip
I was happy with Footloose and saved a good bit of money, we had a mechanical issue, however. The fridge on our boat broke and could not be fixed, so we went through the week using ice. We got a credit for another charter with Footloose or Moorings, which made up for the issue in my opinion.

Overall a good value for money and people were friendly. Older boats break down more often and you have to accept the tradeoffs.

What happened to the Moorings?
Moorings boat was clean on the outside but the engine engine was producing blue smoke and was hard to start. It also used oil. about a quart in 3 hours running time. The refrigeration didn't work. The ambient air temp was about 29C mid day. The temp in the fridge was 22 the temp in the freezer was10C. The dockguy sounded like a service manager when I told him about this. "oh they all are like that", I pointed out this was not true and showed him the nice ice cubes in our friends boat. He shrugged and said there was nothing he could do about it. I asked about the smell of sewage in the boat and although everyone in our group could smell it he couldn't.
The BVI's are very nice. The Moorings made me not want to come back. The whole idea of an ocean based vacation is to be on the ocean. If I can't sail in reasonable comfort and safety I'll pop over to Avalon and deal with the crowds.

I won't use the Moorings again.

Nice boat, good service
We chartered a big Lagoon cat with three couples, using the self provision option. Their base is a quick cab ride to a decent grocery store, and getting the cab was easy as there were a bunch around that catered to charterers. We went in the middle of the Summer and if we went again we would get air conditioning as it was HOT for those accustomed to A/C homes. If you don't get AC be sure to take one of the forward cabins, as they get more air while underway.

Though the boat was nice, we had a chance to check out a Voyager 50 that our friends had. Sunsail doesn't have them, but I would like one next time.
